Devastated that we used this company. Charged us over $5k to move a house lot and did over $9k in damage. Many items broken, including collectable and irreplaceable items. Almost all furniture scratched. Killed 4 out of our 6 indoor plants (some 12yrs old). After initial phone call to complain, owner avoided all phone calls and refused to answer emails. No apologies, no compensation. If you value your stuff, avoid these cowboys at all costs.
A very, very poor effort by this company. I was not kept informed about the progress of my imported effects. Was asked to go to the depot to pick up “the remaining” effects only to find that there were none there. I had queries about the state of my goods after shipping from Australia, where there were things missing and some minor damage. Management were rude and defensive. I was hung up on and received no reassurance that my concerns were being addressed. I would never use Pickfords again nor would I recommend them.
