Container Relocations pioneered the international method of moving household effects in shipping containers within New Zealand, giving Kiwis access to high-quality, cost-effective and environmentally responsible relocations. Our standard moving service utilises a modern 20ft / 38m3 shipping container, which our experience tells us is large enough for an average kiwi 3-4 bedroom home. Our fleet of small flat deck container trucks has been designed explicitly for deliveries into homes with limited space. In most circumstances, we do not need to lift the container to the ground, and it stays on the back of the truck for loading and unloading.
The container is for your exclusive use and is only loaded and unloaded once. There is no rehandling of your precious household goods, so the risk of damage is significantly reduced. If you prefer to pre-pack your household goods, then our team will still do all the heavy lifting and blanket wrap all your furniture and whiteware. Alternatively, we can offer you a full pre-packing service where our team supply the packing materials and do it all for you.
Need Storage? If you require short, medium or long-term storage, using one of our modern, fully waterproof and vented shipping containers is perfect. We store your household goods in a shipping container placed in one of our nine nationwide secure storage facilities.

I cannot recommend this company enough! They were absolutely fantastic! We had a lot of stuff to move including two cars. We needed two containers shipped at different times which was no problem for them to manage. The staff in the office Dani, Lisa and Mark were so helpful and patient with our constant barrage of emails and calls. When it came to packing the container David was amazing! He went above and beyond to reassure us and fit everything in. I was absolutely blown away by how much he was able to pack in! His team were also so helpful, friendly and professional. Malcolm and his team at the Christchurch end were also brilliant. Everything arrived in great condition and was off loaded with care. This is a really great company!

Excellent service. I moved from Auckland to Christchurch. Arrived on time, packed house lot in a 20 foot container in 2.5 hours! And managed to unpack in approx same time in Chch. Container took 10 days to arrive, during busy period in December. Highly recommend.

We need a company to move us from gisborne to nelson. A 4 brd double garage. Container relocation was the best one that offered the best deal. Even had a storage place for our container. They had people come and pack up our house. And the container. After 6 years of being in storage we finally got a house so we could get our furniture we haadnt seen in 6 years. They had man and a van guys come around and unpack the container. We where nervous. Once we started unpacking our breakables we were so happy. Nothing was broken. We would use them again to move.

A fantastic service in every regard, excellent communication from everyone involved. The container was delivered both ends to the correct location on site at the time and date requested and there was no breakages. Will definitely use again.
